Cameron Neely Update: PRAISE REPORT!

Cameron had his surgery yesterday to remove the tumor. It took 5-6 hours and they removed the tumor in sections. It has been sent to pathology for analysis which could take a week. If they don't figure it out, the tumor will go to the Mayo Clinic for diagnosis.

The doctor had prepared the Neely's for him to remain sleeping for the next couple of days as a result of the surgery.

Here's the miracla.....HE WOKE UP LAST NIGHT!! As the anesthesia was wearing off he woke up and has not needed any pain medications. He slept well last night and went in for a CAT scan this morning to look for swelling and fluids. They did not see anything that they were not expecting to see. He woke up again this morning (keep in mind that he SHOULD NOT be awake yet), and is a little weak on the left side - which is also to be expected (although it was to be expected in a couple of days when he was expected to wake up =)

He is eating well, talking and asked to watch Wall-E. This is amazing news. The surgeons and nurses have been fantastic and are amazed at the advanced progress that Cameron is showing.

The Neely's are eleated with the progress.

This is AWESOME news!

Thanks to everyone who has been praying and will continue to pray for this sweet family.

Let this report stand as an argument that we should NEVER underestimate the power of prayer!

In Jesus Name.

Registration OPEN for Summer and FALL!

Vote one of NLT Log's "best of" childcare in 2009!

Offering classes Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 8:30am – 2:30pm.

Rolling Hills Early Education and Enrichment program offers developmentally appropriate hands-on learning activities and incorporates a Christian curriculum from Christian Liberty Press as well as biblical applications with songs implemented by degreed, certified teachers. We cherish children who enter our program and strive to nurture and enrich the WHOLE child. We develop HOLY children through acceptance and care in a Christ centered environment. Our curriculum is supplemented with weekly Spanish and music instruction. All students will also participate in our “Cherub Choir” and bi-annual performances. Our program includes Fine Arts Fridays!

Studies show that exposure to fine arts instruction stimulates right brain development. On Fine Arts Fridays, we educate in ways that stimulate and nourish the God-given talents give to each child. In creative “work”, a child can give greater dimension to his/her feelings, experiment, and relate to the world in a creative way that glorifies God. Children learn by “doing” and fine arts lend themselves naturally to this style of learning and allow children to obtain and retain knowledge in non-traditional ways. Fridays will include a multitude of activities, including creative drama/theatre, Spanish, cooking and science, dance/movement, music appreciation and computer lab.

All programs are open to children ages 12 months through 5 years old.
